Effective security balances prevention, detection and response, and adapts as threats change. Today that includes artificial intelligence: AI video analytics and reporting tools are entering security operations, and criminals are using AI for deepfakes and convincing scams.
This course is designed for security officers ready to move into lead, site supervisor and account manager roles. You will learn how to assess and reduce risk, design layered protection, evaluate and supervise AI-enabled security tools responsibly, recognize AI-driven social engineering, lead and coach a team, manage incidents and workplace-violence prevention, and report results to clients and management.
The final module lays out the credential path step by step, including IFPO’s Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) and ASIS International’s APP, CPP and PSP certifications.
Note: This course does not replace state-required guard training (in California, BSIS Power to Arrest, skills and annual continuing training), and it is not legal advice. Follow your employer’s policies, post orders and applicable law.
