Your Advancement Roadmap

Be the officer supervisors rely on: perfect attendance, clean reports, calm incident handling.
Learn the management side: risk, layered protection, technology and AI, leadership and incident management (Modules 2 to 10).
Ask for lead duties: training new officers, covering the supervisor’s shift, helping with schedules.
Earn a supervisory credential: IFPO’s CSSM once you have supervision experience, then ASIS’s APP (Module 11).
Document your results: keep a record of incidents handled, improvements made and training delivered.
Apply internally first, then to account manager and operations roles at other firms or in-house security departments.
